Damn! Ryzen became one hell of a pleasant surprise. Based on leaked benchmarks, the 1800X performs the same as an i7 6900K, thats pretty amazing!

What are your thoughts, and are you buying one?

I just bought a Ryzen 1700X, and this thing is so fast I can't even keep up with it!

I bought a 1700 but I am still waiting on an x370 taichi.

So I built my wife a 1600X using an MSI tomahawk artic using g.skill 3200 rgb (samsung b-die) got up to 3200mhz ram immediately.

I have only done a little bit of testing, but her 1600X w/1050Ti gets better performance at every graphic settings in WoW than my 8350 + GTX 980, which I wasn't expecting.

Still waiting on my x370 Taichi, but thinking of getting myself a black tomahawk, I am really impressed with hers.

Pretty sweet. I am kinda wishing that I had gotten the tomahawk instead of the Asus Prime B350 Plus, I still can't even get default RAM speeds on it (DDR4-2666).

Still waiting a bit before jumping in. Looks promising, especially with the price to performance ratio on multi-processor intensive applications. But I just recently jumped into the Core i7 @ 4.2 Ghz stock. It will be at least another 3 years before I'll touch the CPU again.

I ended up with an MSI x370 gaming pro carbon, I got ram up to 2933, with my 1700, thing is working great, I am super impressed.

Sweet, I'm still happy with my 1700X. My 390X sadly has been failing for a while now, and put up with it for months waiting to see what Vega would offer, and then made the decision to replace it with a GTX 1080. AMD really pissed me off with Vega.

I was kinda expecting vega to flop the way it did with all the delays and crap. Still like my 1700, my wife's msi b350 motherboard froze when I was upgrading firmware, so just RMAd the thing. It's a beast though.

Still happy with my 980 though, probably won't upgrade graphics until the next gen.
